A few words about dr. Adisu-ef. Sultanoviću.
Dr. Adis-ef. Sultanović was born in 1985 in Bugojno, the son of Enes and Halida. He is married and has two daughters. His wife Sumeja was engaged as a female religious teacher (muallima) at the Teftedarin Do mosque, which is where he used to serve until recently.
He has taken the duty of the imam of the BECCA center on November 1st, 2022.
Dr. Adis completed Gazi Husrev-bey’s Madrasa in Sarajevo in 2008, after which he completed his studies at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences in Sarajevo. He obtained his master’s degree from the same faculty in 2015. In 2020, he earned his doctorate from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences in Sarajevo, with a thesis titled ‘Social Position and Activities of Imams in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1945 to 1971’
He has served as an imam, teacher, and khateeb in the following mosques: from 2009 to 2014, at the Islamic Community Council in Gornji Vakuf; then from 2015 to 2016, at the Islamic Community Council in Livno; and since 2016, he has been the imam at Teftadarin Do Mosque in Sarajevo.
He has been awarded several times for his successful work. Recently, he has also performed Hajj pilgrimage. He has published a large number of scientific papers and authored several books. He is dedicated to his role as an imam, and his achievements speak for themselves.
