Membership

 

 

Your membership in the mosque community is of great importance. In addition, membership in the mosque community is a beloved deed to God. The community is the concern of all of us, and we expect the reward for taking care of the mosque and the community from the Almighty Allah. Those who take care of the mosques are described by the Almighty Allah in a verse:

“The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and establish prayer and give zakah and do not fear except Allah, for it is expected that those will be of the [rightly] guided.” (Quran 9:18)

The membership in the mosque and caring for it is a good deed, as evidenced by the saying of Allah’s Messenger, peace be upon him, in a hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that Allah’s Messenger, peace be upon him, said:

“The actions of a believer continue to be credited to his account after his death: knowledge that he spread, a righteous child whom he left behind, a Quran that he bequeathed, a mosque that he built, a rest house for travelers that he built, a well that he dug, or charity that he gave from his wealth during his lifetime and health, hoping that it would be distributed after his death.” (Ibn Majah – Hasan)

All you need to know

  • Debit/Credit CARD or Cash: All types of payment can be made via debit/credit card or cash directly at the office of the mosque committee.
  • PAYPAL: You can also make all payments through PayPal. When paying through PayPal, use the email address: becca@izbsa.com and always indicate (add note) what you are paying for (e.g. Membership, New center, Bosnian school, Mekteb, Sadaka…)!
  • ZELLE: You can also make donations through Chase QuickPay and Zelle applications, very easily, using our new email: info@bicc-chicago.com, but always indicate what you are paying for!
  • CHECK: You can send your donations (checks) directly to the mosque’s address:

Each of our members enjoys the right to use all the services provided by the mosque, while also having the opportunity to choose and be elected to the leadership bodies of our community.
