Idriz ef. Budimlić

Idriz ef. Budimlić was born on September 3, 1981, in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He pursued his Islamic education diligently, culminating in a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies.

For over two decades, Imam Budimlić has been dedicated to serving various communities as both an imam and chaplain. His tenure includes significant roles in providing spiritual care and support to diverse congregations.

In January 2025, after nine years of commendable service at the Bosnian-Herzegovinian Islamic Center in New York, Imam Budimlić, along with his wife Adaleta and their two children, Zeineb and Zeid, transitioned to Chicago. He assumed the position of imam at the Bosnian Educational and Cultural Center of America (BECCA), where he continues his mission of spiritual leadership and community engagement.

Imam Budimlić’s commitment to fostering unity and spiritual growth remains steadfast as he embarks on this new chapter with the BECCA community in Chicago.
